Usage & Workflow
14. How do I get started?
Getting started is simple:
1. Visit Export Sequence website
2. Click "Login with Outreach" and authenticate with your Outreach account
3. Copy a sequence URL from Outreach (format: https://web.outreach.io/sequences/300/overview)
4. Paste the URL, select your preferred format (PDF or DOCX), and click Export
5. Your document will automatically download
15. What format should the sequence URL be?
The URL should follow this format: https://web.outreach.io/sequences/[SEQUENCE_ID]/overview. You can copy it directly from your browser's address bar when viewing a sequence in Outreach.
16. Can I export multiple sequences at once?
Currently, Export Sequence exports one sequence at a time. You can export multiple sequences by repeating the process for each one.
17. Do I need to re-authenticate every time?
No. Your authentication session persists, so you can export multiple sequences without re-authenticating. You'll need to log in again if your session expires or you log out.
Troubleshooting
18. I'm getting an "Invalid sequence URL" error. What should I do?
Make sure your URL:
• Is from web.outreach.io
• Includes /sequences/ followed by a number
• Includes /overview at the end
• Is copied from the browser address bar (not a share link)
19. The export fails with an authentication error. How do I fix it?
Try the following:
1. Log out and log back in
2. Ensure your Outreach account has access to the sequence
3. Verify your Outreach account is active
20. My exported PDF looks different from the sequence in Outreach. Why?
Export Sequence formats content for document export, which may differ slightly from the web interface. The structure and information match, but formatting is optimized for PDF/DOCX readability.
21. Some email content is missing from my export. What's wrong?
This can happen if:
• The sequence template doesn't have content
• The step type doesn't include email content (e.g., task steps)
• There are API access restrictions
Check the sequence in Outreach to confirm the content exists.
22. Which sequences can I export?
You can export sequences you have read access to in Outreach. If you can't view a sequence in Outreach, you won't be able to export it.
